Brazil itinerary 2: Plenty of time for South Brazil - 16 days

In a period of three weeks you'll have plenty of time to visit all of the highlights of this part of Brazil. Highlights: Rio de Janeiro - Tropical beaches of Ilha Grande - Colonial Paraty - Iguazu Falls - Jungle trekking in the Amazon - Historic Salvador - Table mountains and canyons - Paradise on Tinharé Island Compared to our other Brazil holidays, this holiday focuses more on Brazil’s natural beauty. It includes visits to a wide variety of attractions and outdoor activities from southern Brazil to northern Brazil. While experiencing the best nature has to offer, you'll travel by land from Rio de Janeiro to Sao Paulo. Along the way you'll visit Ilha Grande and Paraty. Both locations are excellent for walking, horseback riding, kayaking and snorkelling. You'll go on an exciting jet-boat ride as close to the plunging waters of the Iguazu Falls as possible. Then you'll fly on to the Amazon where you'll go on jungle treks and you'll also visit Chapada Diamantina's mesa territory. Brazil holidays - General informationWhat's included in the price of our Brazil holidays?- All accommodation with breakfast. Occasionally other meals are included as well. Check the daily programme.- Nearly all transport, except for several local transfers, as described in the daily programme. Bus trips in Brazil are quite comfortable; local buses may be a bit cramped and rides include occasional bumps in the road. In general Brazil Travel Plan will arrange all major transfers upon your arrival in a new location. Shorter transfers, for instance daytime transfers from a bus station to your accommodation are only included if they aren't easy to arrange on your own. Domestic flights are also included in the price of our Brazil holidays. - Excursions and organised visits with an English-speaking guide as indicated, see the descriptions. - When necessary, assistance from our local agent, available 24 hours a day. |
