Day 1: Recife - Porto GalinhasDepending on your travel plans you'll either be collected from the airport in Recife or at your hotel for the 1.5 hour transfer to Porto Galinhas. After driving for about 15 minutes you'll leave the city streets behind and you'll drive through rolling green hills covered with sugarcane plants. Porto Galinhas was once a small fishing village, but these days it's a thriving tourist town with souvenir shops, bars and restaurants. Almost all of the hotels in this area are located along a long stretch of beach on the outskirts of town.During this Porto Galinhas Brazil tour you'll stay at a beachfront pousada approximately 2km from town. The reception area and pousada's rooms are decorated with colourful cloths and other cheerful decorations. Your room will have air conditioning, television, a telephone and a mini bar. A hammock will be waiting for you on your balcony or veranda. |

Day 2 - 3: Porto GalinhasEnjoy Brazil's sun, sea and sand today. During Days 2 and 3 of this Porto Galinhas tour you'll have plenty of time for strolling on the beach, some light reading in a hammock or swimming in one of the natural lagoons off the coast. Small sail boats known as jangadas will take you to the lagoons. Grab a taxi cab into town for dinner. Local shops are open in the evening if you fancy an after-dinner stroll or want to have a nightcap at one of the local bars. You'll see images of chickens on buildings in the streets of the town in homage to the name of this town. |
Day 4: Porto Galinhas - RecifeSometime during the day you'll be collected from your pousada and taken back to Recife. Upon your arrival you'll be dropped off at your accommodation or at the airport, depending on the rest of your travel plans.After this Porto Galinhas Brazil tour ends you can continue on with our easygoing Recife and Olinda tour.
